Oh Jim... I love that room..especially sitting next to that fire! How cozy. Now all that's missing is 'Jeeves' serving! LOL ... Is this a place you visited?
Actually, my little living room /library is set up similiar..sans the fireplace, and the stained glass window.
    Love the look..

Beautiful picture, looks so cozy and inviting. "Jeeves" must have put a good bit of "elbow grease" into polishing up that silver--gorgeous!

Hot here too Kathleen. Yard work has to be done early or late in the day--too hot after 10 and before 6.

Jim, what a fabulous picture, thanks for posting! It even inspired me to move my living room furniture around yesterday. Too bad I don't have the beautiful items at that hotel but I did manage to get a loveseat and coffee table next to our fireplace. Next rainy day, I'm going to put out a "cuppa tea and crumpets" and pretend I'm in London! LOL!

Love it Jim , thanks for sharing it . That stark white tablecloth against the subdued colors in the room is wonderful too. Where do you find these pictures from ?! Kareen

slinkey - No I've never had the pleasure of visiting that hotel.

Kareen - I found that pic usually the way I find others, I wasn't looking for anything like that and came across it. I remember when I was looking for specific pics of tea parties and didn't have much luck - the orig pic is what I had in mind!

I'm happy the pic was enjoyed and now here's a few more for inspiration.

I really like the last one with the different colored chairs and the tierd plates. Perfect for a summer day. Thanks Jim. Luvs

Terrific eye-candy, Jim. You always find such neat photos to share with us. I think I really like the 3rd from the bottom, with the shutters in background. A glass of ice tea and a book would be perfect there.
I did notice something "missing" from these photos tho...all that seating and no cat on any??? LOL.

    hugs, Karen
