anyone ever return appliances?

I just got my appliances (all white) and have changed my mind on the color. SS would look better with my kitchen cabinets. Are retailers open to swapping appliances or am I out of luck? SS would be more expensive. Unfortunately though I would need to get some of the appliances uninstalled (DW/OTC MW).

If they were new in the box, maybe but now that they have been installed and are used....well you would have a very special dealer willing to take a great loss on your behalf if he did allow an exchange.....
