Hey, Reeny, I read on another thread that you bought a steamer. Which one did you buy?

I ended up buying the vx5000 - the one we spoke about a few days ago. I absolutely love it! My grout looks like new - at least what I have done so far. The real test is this weekend when I go to our rental house to see if I can get the grout clean there before the new tenants arrive. Wish me luck!!

I too am considering purchasing a steamer. I have narrowed it down to the Kleenjet 200 and the VX5000. What made you go with the vx5000. How tedious was it to clean grout?

I finally joined, since my searches for gardening help frequently end at a GardenWeb site. Ironically, my first post has nothing to do with gardening.

I have been considering whether a vapor steamer is worth the money and am pretty close to thinking it is. I am also down to the Kleenjet 200S and the VX5000. Would love feedback on whether a vapor steamer makes cleaning easier and which of these two models is the easiest to use. Thanks!
