Need your help please

What could I do with this half wall it's driving me crazy. Right now it's a continuing color all around my living room I would like to break it up. I would appreciate any ideas that u may have

Keep it! You could make it look very rich and pretty! Try adding wainscoting on the front. Maybe frame out two squares on the larger piece and one on the other. Super easy with decorative trim. Just make a square! You can even paint the inside of the squares a light soft sand or beige color. Finish the trim on the left corner top. The bottom molding is perfect for this! I'll attach a copy of an example. I would change out the blinds to a soft camel color and add a top Cornice. Even though it is textured, it will still work. Good Luck!

What is it? A divider, a bar? Does the tile go up under it or is the tile around it? . . . and do you have any extra tile if you do remove it?

How thick of a wall is it? Is this sturdy enough to turn into an open framework of shelves and functionality? If not, I'd pat it gently with a sledgehammer or donate it to a local shop class for reverse engineering.

Have no idea how your room is laid out, but you could take advantage of the odd wall and have a custom unit designed to house your electronics/TV. Also, I think if you add panels to either side of the window in the dining area, it will help considerably as there are lots of sharp angles, and stone floor, needs some softness... Good Luck! Is the dining room on the other side of it? It could be someone's idea of creating separate rooms. I would vote to remove it also, but only if you have enough of whatever is on the floor to cover the void it will leave.

I'm with Natalee on this one. If it can't be removed, I'd add some wainscoting and a coat of semi-gloss to match the trim. If even that is too much work, I would simply paint it the color of the trim in the room and maybe put a couple framed pictures up to mimic Natalee's suggestion from above. Good Luck!

I would just paint it a more neutral color, half walls are actually quite nice in creating definition between rooms, and an add'l cost when trying to bring them back in... think about it

The wainscoting suggested above looks pretty.

Please take a look at the Houzz Ideabook "Renovation Detail: The Built-In Divider." I am guessing that after you see those photos, you will appreciate your own divider more, and will have some ideas of how to make it work for you rather than against you as it it doing now.

If this wall serves no function besides blocking the view then remove it. You can decorate it however you want, but if it's not utilized or hasn't a purpose, it's just a waste of space.

It looks like there is a step, floor elevation change? If that is the case, and you need the division to prevent a trip/fall hazard then I would go with banisters and a rail, just like you would on a staircase, but level. match the wood to those blinds you have in the room in the back of the photo. whatever you do, get rid of that horrible dead gray paint, it looks terrible with the lovely cream brown tones of the flooring in the foreground.
