I'm ready for Halloween !!!!
I'm ready to get down all the purple, orange and black tubs, probably 20 in all.

I don't like the bloody, scary part, but I don't do the cutsy stuff either.
We always have a halloween party. Dress up the manaquins and bring on the food.

Fell in love with Big Lots glitter pumkins last year - really pretty.
All the resin animals out in the garden get halloween bows and witch hats light the pathway.

Just got my new Grandin Road magazines in the mail Tues.
Love their Halloween stuff.
Surprisingly, there are quite a few simular items at Kmart this year.

I love Looking at Grandin Road Catalog...but find it too pricey for me..
Funny how Kmart would have similar things...Pays to shop around !

Yeah, they actually have the dueling bango skeletons, the bride and groom skeletons and the cat and dog skelatons at Kmart.

GR is pricey, but I get some good Ideas from them.
Take the orange witches hats that light up.
I went to Dollar Tree last year and bought 10-12 orange large and small witches hats.
Bought the necklace glow sticks 3-$1 and made necklaces that laid around the hat band.
Then hung them with string from the trees and they lighted the way to the back yard where the party was..........cheryl

Halloween is my favorite haoliday to decorate for!! I am like you though..i dont like all the gorey stuff....there is nothing fun about a decapitated zombie. This year i plan to turn my office building into a "witches cottage" (its a small building) I have been working on some homemade "witch bottles" since april. I take glass bottles and jars that people bring me (pickle jars, liquor bottles whatever) dye them, put creepy labels on them and age them so they look really neat and authentic. I have about 140 now. I bought some wallpaper type stuff that looks like catacombs to cover the walls with, and lots of black spiderwebs to cover the ceiling. Last year i found some motion activated boxes that make scary sounds when people walk by them, so im going to put them by the doors. So much fun!!!! It usually takes my whole 12 hour shift to up the decor (between doing copius amounts of productive work by the way) lol. HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!
