Judith, call you internet provider, they can walk you thru getting your home email to work again.

I've had to call yahoo many times as mine would only receive & not send, they walked me thru it & it was fine.

Lordy, my internet provider, you have caused me to shake in my boots, and have a nervous tic start up. LOL, I have had such HORRIBLE luck when I get on with them, usually they do NOT speak English well, OFTEN, don't know what they are doing etc. My first time setting up my computer took over 4 hrs on the phone, I kept getting transferred and transferred to different people (no one in the U.S.) Sigh, I am not trying to be mean or discourtious, but this was my experience, one that I am not wanting to go thru again, BUT, I know I must, I guess I am just waiting for a day that I am in the best and most pleasent mood, so I can handle the "event". LOL Oh, yeah, mine/provider is Verizon, who would have thought??????

Girl, you are killing me here LOL, I am so curious, but I will just have to wait until tomorrow, not driving into work now (I'm in my jammies) to find out. LOL

Judith, I sent my reply to you at 11:41 a.m. central time today, did you check your email after that?

It just occured to me that I attached 3 pictures to it and your work may have rejected the email. I know sometimes my hubby's work email does that if there is an attachment.

Let me know if you checked it after that time & if so & you didn't get it, I'll resend without pictures.

OMG, I know, you get people in another country & I cannot understand them at all! You have to ask for someone that you can understand. I actually hung up on one & dialed back & ended up with someone I could understand.

I think they are all the same, it is not fun to call them, but at times there is nothing else you can do!!!

I know I checked it in the morning, but in the afternoon I was super busy, so I will check it in the morning and also check the "bumped" file.

Yes, that is was happened to me I kept getting passed around, I ended up having a mini meltdown towards the end and finally got someone that knew what they were doing, but really, it took hours and hours, unreal! But I know I have to try it again, I know I have missed out on alot of emails, Sigh...

Judith, I sent you another one without the attachments, so that one should be there in the morning, possibly both of them.

This is an opportunity for you, not me asking for anything, so now the mystery deepens!!!!!

Argghhhhhhhh, LoL, how am I supposed to go to sleep tonite????? LOL Oh well, one always loves a mystery...hmm, I better go drink some warm milk, all the while slowly chanting to myself...don't worry, 5 a.m is right around the corner LOL yeah, right!

Oh, Yachter did something very kind and thoughtful for me, for now, it'll have to stay between the two of us...sorry :) Gosh, you are all a great group of people, it is so nice to be cared about when "you/we" haven't even met in person. This is really a great place to be, it's sort of my "second" home, good thing my dog, Toby isn't jealous. ;) he usually is curled up on my lap, with the table and laptop above him, I think he thinks it's cozy, so no "threat" there, he even deals with me stumbling over him with an armfull of dishes trying to navagate from my "supply room" to the dining room table.

Yes, life is good.

Yachter, LOL, now you really are killing me, I have at least 10 hours to go! This is worse than caffine, I won't be able to sleep at ALL. I will probably get a speeding ticket on the way to work, and you know that will NOT be a good thing LOL....Oh, I really hate my email provider NOW, why couldn't I have been gifted in "Art" of computers, some kind of genetic screw up, I'll have to bring that up with my mom....

Judith, fixing email is not easy. Your pop server for receiving is messed up, if you knew that, you could re-enter it & probably fix it, although I remember there was another step to it, & one I wouldn't have found!

Spend the evening talking to your service provider, that will pass the time, especially trying to figure out what he is saying! LOL LOL

Okay, ladies, you know this is a "Public" forum and all of us always look at these shouts out for a specific person type posts--you've both made email contact now, so how about just doing that until/if you want to share with the rest of us.

I think it's great if Yachter has come up with something wonderful for you, Judith. You certainly deserve some good things after the year you've had, and that's sweet of Yachter to think of you.

But all this posting back and forth about some great "secret" is really feeling a bit "rude" to me, and perhaps to others as well, by leaving the rest of us in the dark. And I know neither of you would ever intentionally want to do that.

Luvs, I'm sorry you think we're rude, but if Judiths email at home had been working there would have been no more posts after the first one!

We now have it all worked out, so won't be posting OT on this public forum any longer.
