How is the pergola attached to the roof?

    Very impressed with light touch in the design of the pergola. Could you provide details of how the pergola is attached to the roof? Is it possible to see some photos of the pergola from the side? Currently trying to design a pergola for house similar in design in Brisbane, Australia - Single level, ranch style with barge board/ fascia at top of window height.

      Would also like to know how the pergola is attached to the roof and what kind of clear material is covering the pergola? Tempered Glass?

      We didn't want to penetrate the envelope so the wood structure is sitting on the roofing via thick rubber gaskets. the glass is tempered.
