Those are wonderful. Love the happy faces. I'm just not into scary looking ones. Being a cat lover, I have to say the kitty is my favorite one.. but what a hard choice as the others are just too cute!
I would give most anything to have painting talent and be creative. You do a terrific job on both counts.

Those are adorable! I diitto everything Karen said. Do you sell your wonderful creations at craft fairs?

Punk, those are both so cute . . . You are such a good painter! Like Karen, I'm not into the scary, creepy Halloween decs. Just ths morning, DD and I made a quick stop at Michaels craft store (after her orthodontist visit) and she was begging me to buy some of their (very realistic) rats . . . yuck!!!!! Give me the cute decs any day! Keep posting your great projects. We love them here!

Karen, thanks so much for your wonderful comments. You have the right friend who could teach you to paint and you are creative, I've looked at your decorations for along time and enjoyed.

Luckygal, I use to sell at craft shows but now I give everything away to family and friends. Thanks for asking. It's not that I wouldn't trade if someone wanted something I paint.

Syble, glad you liked them all. I enjoy painting.

Lynn, I'm not one to like gore but for Halloween I can take some. I don't do well with rats because we have a cabin and they run up the tree and across the roof sometimes at night. As far as the bloody fingers I posted early, I wasn't grossed out by them for some reason. Maybe cuz I liked the broom.haha

As long as it's ok with everyone I will keep posting. I didn't get much response on my blue rose tray so I wasn't sure I should keep posting but I thought in case others are like me and don't always take time to post I'd try again. Thanks again for asking for posts and if some would rather not see them let me know.

Jane, your jealous??? How do you think I feel looking at all these beautiful tables and decorations and I don't know where to start! Thanks so much for the comments.

You are all so fun and make life worth posting!!! I will post my two creations I came up with like the Spook Crossing one of these days.

Punk: I just love your paintings. I so wish I had your talent. Great, great inspirations! Thanks and keep posting your lovely creations.

    Those are just too cute!
I can't paint to save my life!

I just love the 'one tooth' wonders! How sweet they are with their fat little pinch-able cheeks. And your spook crossing sign is Darling! I love cute.

But, my Boys love the blood, guts, and rats. I tone it down and I HATE spiders, so I avoid those every chance I can. I've been known to stand across the room and throw shoes at them when nobody but me is at home!

I adore your spook crossing sign. Did the cat come with the sign or did you add it seperately? I just love it.

    Punk,

I thought I had posted on this thread, but guess not.
Your paintings are really nice. I like the sense of humor I pick up from them. "Spook Crossing" and the one-toothed pumpkin are cute as can be.

Thanks for sharing your artistry with us.

    Jane, Sooooo True

Soinspired, I'm glad you love my paintings and I will keep on posting.

Kathleen, thank you for your comment. Have you ever tried to paint? You are so creative I'll bet you'd be great at it.

Betty, I bet you would try to pinch the little one tooth wonders little cheeks if you could. Glad you like the spook crossing also. Boys do like gore and us girls like glitz and that's the way it should be. Just so we have the story straight here. It's the spiders your throwing shoes at and not the boys for loving the blood, guts, and rats, right?LOL You are so funny.

Brutuses, so happy you loved the Spook Crossing and the cat was part of the pattern. I also made a smaller one to sit on the bottom by the pumpkins but it didn't come out to play this year.

Lee, thanks for the comments and I will be back with more if that's what you want.

Thanks again for all your comments and I'll try to post when I have time. I do enjoy all your fun and creative ideas and visiting with all of you can be good for the soul.

Punk, you BETTER keep posting. I'm guilty of looking at your blue roses and NOT commenting. I'm sorry. I really liked them. I read all the posts nightly but just don't always comment.

Interesting you mentioned you'd do "trades". I once brought it up (here or on Garden Junk) that I wished we could do some sort of exchange thing since most of us have stuff we'd like to share.

Luvs HAS tried to advise me with some painting tips, bless her heart. But I seem to be quite hopeless! I can never get the paint to look nice and SMOOTH. Plus I totally lack talent for drawing (however I'm a GREAT Tracer)and doing shadows or effects. Heck, I am lucky I can even paint walls. LOL. So I'm a huge fan of spray paint when it comes to crafting.

Karen, you are so funny. I'll bet you would be great at painting. I have taught some that had no desire, just wanted out of the house, I think. Wish we lived closer and I could have fun playing with others on here.

I ask on the tole painting forum last year if we could do an ornament exchange and no one seemed to care. Maybe that was their way of telling me nicely they didn't care for my work.LOL

Thanks and I'll post until I hear otherwise.haha I should wait until I have several projects painted but seems as though they go out the door pretty quick for gifts.

Punk, was your little spook crossing one of your first posts on the Painting forum last year? I think I remember us chatting about how cute it was and that I also had that pattern but had not painted it yet. It really is a darling sign and you did a great job painting it.

Karen says she can't paint, but one of the first things that got me "chatting" with her a couple years ago were some cement rabbits she had poured and painted. She did a wonderful job painting them and I "drooled" over them. She has a great eye for colors and I just know she would be a good painter if someone could just show her a few little steps.

Trust me, anyone can paint if they have the desire and a little patience---if I can do it, I know all these talented ladies certainly could too. ;o)

    Luvs,

This is a riot! Now tell me Karen does tablescapes also. Yes, I posted the spook crossing last year over on the painting forum. You have a good memory. You should try to get one painted. If you don't want to cut the sign our yourself, maybe you could find a frame that would work. I made the snowman and reindeer crossing last year.

Why don't you invite Karen to visit and have her paint with you? Or would there be time to shop and paint.haha Absolutely, anyone can paint with some desire. The only reason I started painting was because I wanted everything I seen and knew I couldn't afford it.
