Air switch choices?

We need to buy an air switch for our garbage disposal. (NB: we decided on a continuous feed.) Any advice? Does it matter at all? The choices I seem to have are

1. Insinkerator -- they make the disposal (we will buy either an evolution excel or an evolution compact)

2. Franke -- the sink is a Franke

3. Water Inc -- Recommended by the appliance store.

We have a franke sink, an insinkerator excel and the cheapest airswitch Home Depot was selling at the time. It all works fine. Maybe someone could explain why an expensive air switch is better (don't know if the Water,Inc. is expensive)but it seems to me that it is just an on/off switch and if the chrome or whatever finish you want is available in the cheap switch I don't see a reason to spend more money on it. HTH.

The people at the store simply said that they are all in the same ballpark: The Water Inc is about $90 in the satin finish I want and they had good luck with it. Water Inc has a model that can activate two appliances (eg 2 disposals, or one + a hot water source) but I do not need it. Thanks, -- CF
