Another vanity / sink height question

I have all the stuff ready to go into the bathroom. With the vanity, countertop, and vessel sink, the top edge of the sink will be at 39". My option is to go with it like this or cut an inch or two off the toe-kick. I checked the cabinets and this will be easy. My concerns are:

Is a two inch toe kick still enough room for toes to fit, and enough room to get a broom or mop under to clean?

Is 39" too out of the norm?

I read one of Mongo's posts that his sink is at 39-1/2" and his 5'1" wife likes it. I set up our sink at 39" in the kitchen and my wife says okay as long as she gets this sink and faucet she fell in love with.

I am wondering which will look the most out of place, short toe kick or tall sink? I am leaning towards the 39" because if I cut the base and my wife stubs her toe...

Any opinions?
