I'm wondering whether most people tile all the way to the top of top of the shower wall or ?? My shower area is the size of a bathtub basically. I'm not sure what looks better with a small shower area, and don't have a great imagination. The tiles I picked out are about 9 by 12, a white with a slight gray going through it, with a lovely listello. I am debating where to put the listello, and how far to go up with the tile. Until I found out the price, i was going to do a row of listello at about 5 or 6 feet maybe, and one just below teh ceiling, maybe. But the listello tiles are 10 bucks each, so "nevermind." I have not decided whether to use a clear shower door of some type or a shower curtain hooked back when not in use. (I want the tiles seen, as I won't be using the hall shower that often, so I want to enjoy looking at it even when not "in use." Also, I'm going to put a few decorative tiles that are the same as the regular tile but have a cut out with a three dimensional design that appears in the listello. Not sure whether to do maybe three or four of those. ???
