First, Great Job on the wood floors, They look warm open! I would paint or stain the beam above to match one of the colors in the floor. Furniture placement is hard because I can't see the space in it's entirety. What space is that next to the french doors? But I think if space allows, that would be a very cozy and romantice place for a large bed. (As long as the french doors can still operate.) The two windows butted in that corner are a nice spot for a large reading chair and maybe an ottoman. Use rugs intimate each space and I would see about building wall-shelving to house the Television and entertainment equipment. Happy Decorating!
