GREAT JOB! Love the tile, jealous of the heated floors (hubby had to put his foot down somewhere and the heated floor was it) :o How is the lighting at your vanity? So many people ask about what kind (where) of lighting to use. Side lighting is always the most flattering and by putting a sconce in the middle, you upped the "eveness" factor even more :) Good job :) What is the tile on the walls and floor?

I've been shopping for 2 base cabinets and drawers, similar to yours. Noticed your drawers are on the outside, not the middle. Does your vanity have 4 or 2 separate components? I've been looking at what they call a "combo" unit, where 4 drawers and a base cabinet are together in one cabinet and wondered if that is what you have?

Anyone who is looking to brighten up the bathroom can do this very easily by using an innovative shower curtain to bring some spice into the place. Shower curtains come in all kinds of designs and finishes which will suit even the most outlandish of tastes and this can be a fun way of really showing some flair and style in this small room.

Hi auzzy...they are 2 separate 30" cabinets. That allowed us to have the extra drawer space. Visually it might look more like one cabinet if the knobs were toward the center, but it functions better like this. The panels at the top of the cabinet have "tip outs" so we were able to squeeze in even a little more storage space to keep counter clutter to a minimum since there is not a lot of counter space!

Hi, your new bathroom is lovely!

I'm starting to think about renovating my son's bathroom and I would like to get a one-handle faucet like what you have on your sinks. I see that they are Kohler Forte. What is the finish on these? Are they brushed nickel? How easy are they to keep clean, do they show water spots, etc. Thanks, Susan

    Susan631:

I have Kohler Fairfax single lever faucets in Chrome.

Susan631 - the finished is called Vibrant Brushed Nickel and so far, they are easy to keep clean but we've only been using the bathroom a week! We have had the kitchen version of the Kohler Forte in the same finish for 4 years and it still looks as good as the day we installed it.

Love your bathroon. Quick question - Now that you have been using your shower for a couple of months, do you like/use the body sprays? What would you have done differnt in your shower, if anything?

I am weighing body sprays. I really want body sprays as I really liked them in a couple of hotels I stayed in with them. Contractor/plumber are trying to talk me out of them.

    Thanks for the feedback.
