Luvs, your turkey is adorable! I don't think you've missed a beat
with your painting skills. So glad you have a friend you can paint
with. Always more fun when someone else has the same hobby.

Great to have you back sharing and hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving.
The kids were down and we had a fun day. I ate to much but that's
Normal!

Punk

I totally agree with Punk! You always painted the cutest holiday things, and other projects too. Its wonderful you are doing so again, and have a friend to paint with.

hugs, Karen

Thanks Punk and Karen, I think I followed his little message of "gobble" much too well yesterday!

Not sure how much my friend will paint with me, its been allot longer since she has painted and I'm not sure how much she enjoyed doing it again. We'll see. For me, I know I NEED the creative outlet and projects to plan and work on to keep my mind and time occupied, so will continue I think.

This little guy was a Renee Mullins design, I seem really drawn to her stuff so I'm sure you will see more in the coming months.

Hugs to you both.

Luvs

Oh luvs...that is so darn cute! Good for you ...I hope your friend will try it again ... set up a 'painting date' ... it's always more fun to craft with someone, I think, anyway. Today my teen gr'd, my middle daughter & I spent a couple hours creating 'tags' for packages ...with photos, stamps, embossing, scrap paper...just having fun! ;-) ~~Jeanne

So good to see you here again Luvs!!
I love your turkey plate.
I hope you come back often!!

Thanks Jeanne and Nana, I've vowed to get back here with the people I enjoy so much. I plan to get back to my painting more this year too, it's good therapy and working on projects helps fill the days. I do hope my friend won't give up, I love having someone to chat with while we paint.

Luvs

Thanks Jane, you are always so kind. It was fun to work on this although I had quite a few touch ups since its been so long since I've painted! I've been enjoying all your posts on Facebook. Sometimes hard to pull myself away from playing all the addictive games I have on my Ipad. Anyone else have that problem? lol

I'm hoping to work on lots more projects after the holidays.

Yeah, it feels great to work with someone who have the same interests. I enjoyed my Thanksgiving, I always take help from my kids, sometimes I feel like they are more innovative and have nice ideas. We always enjoy decorating together.

Luvs....I think You'll pick up real soon with your
painting skills....just like Riding A Bike! Lol
I've found myself caught up in this darn 'potato chip' games!
I find myself doing them late at night when I can't sleep...some of
Them seem impossible to beat....I think that's the hook to keep
us trying and trying.
Look forward to seeing more of paintings
