Inline blower downdraft units

We had on order 36" downdraft unit with inline or external blower Electrolux E36DD75ESS to go with our WOLF CT30G cooktop

Our contractor told us this would be expensive to install, because of the large external blower requiring a deep window well to ensure proper ventilation.

He suggested something along the lines of :

inline blower (we don't want an internal bower to keep sound levels down)

We were thinking of :

Wolf DD36R downdraft unit + 1100 CFM inline unit

Are there other units which have inline blowers and be more cost effective?

My wife does not want a downdraft unit higher than 9" or 10" so the Bosch/Thermador 14" ones are out.

Are there others?
