Kathleen, I commented on your blog, but was glad to take another peak here. I love it all, and especially the pheasant S&P.

Ladies! No need to comment if you already did! You are too kind..
Just thought the newbies might enjoy it!

Kathleen, thanks for posting this here -- I don't always make it to the blogs, and I know I miss lots of things.

Your table is beautiful. Your metal pumpkin makes the perfect centerpiece. Everything looks grand!

    Pass the acorn cookies, please.

Since I don't have a blog, I don't comment there, but I do try to look frequently and enjoy all the things you share. I mentioned on Karen's post about her new pheasant that you had salt and pepper shakers that were pheasants too--and here they are! TFS Luvs

    Luvs, that's why I posted it, :)
I know everyone who was here last year saw it, but when pheasants were mentioned I decided to rerun it!

And thank you for remembering them!

Kathleen, since my memory stinks (unlike Luvs), things are always NEW to me. So repost away and I love seeing your gorgeous pictures right along with any new members. Plus I just know there's always something I've missed on your settings the first time. Those pheasant S&P shakers are very pretty.

    hugs, Karen

Kathleen, Last year I wasn't in to pheasants. So, thanks for reposting those cuties for me this year.

I'm with Betty. Sometimes I miss elements of a picture simply because I'm not thinking along certain lines. So seeing a picture a second time can be like seeing it the first time if I approach it from a different angle. (Oh, I fear I'm not expressing myself very well.)

At any rate, Kathleen, keep posting here and repeat stuff to your heart's content. I been here over a year now and I don't remember that table setting at all.
It's very nice, by the way.

OA, I remember you commenting on the brass letters and numbers last year!
I remember that, but not where I put my keys! LOL
And thank you all for taking the time to comment...:)

That's just such a pretty, inviting table! I love the idea of the letters in the pumpkins for place cards. Terrific idea! I have the Lenox Eternal, too. So versatile, although I've never done much with it. I'm working on it though. I really like what you did with your metal pumpkin. I'll have to try that. And the little pheasants are darling!

    Thank you, Cindy..
I only have dinner plates in the Lenox pattern.
I bought them as I have the Lenox Eternal Christmas..and they discontinued it..
I bought some plain plates to mix in if I need extras.

Oh my gosh, NOW I remember.
I went back to the "digital scrapbook" that I keep, and there was the table setting - only I put it in the New Years Eve section. I guess, because of the numbers. Now, how silly does that make ME feel!!!

Not silly at all! You have more impt things to remember than a table! :)

Lovely table. I am wondering how you handle removing the plate decoration. Do you do it before you serve, guests remove it? Thanks, I love the look, just don't know the protocol for removing the items when it is time to serve dinner.

    TIA

I remove it with the bowl, fill the bowl and return it w/o the decoration!
I don't know if there is a protocol per se, that's just how I do it, LOL!

Kathleen, Nice, real nice and thanks so much for showing us your last years table. Funny how everyone is getting into pheasants this year. You are just way to far ahead.LOL Punk
