Hi All!

Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving.

I'll be honest, I haven't posted much just because I got a little burned out(life in general) and needed to take a break for awhile.

I also haven't done much in my home other than I did my deer/wreath for fall, which I will transition now to Christmas.

Forgive the pic,I still needed to do a bit of tweaking on it--but I liked the overall picture composition.

Here's some new pics of Squeaky; she's really grown over the months and is a wonderful cat--the best of both her mom and dad's personalities

Hopefully I'll be posting some pics of what I've done for Christmas, still thinking of ways for new arrangements re-purposing what I already have and a few new additions.

jim

Here's the "fall" wreath arrangement.

This is Squeaky on the chair, the shot was supposed to be of "Big Plant" that I wanted to show someone(I've have that plant for 3o yrs) but she wanted to get into the pic too.

And here's a pic of Squeaky on my lap..."quality time" lol

Jim, your fall wreath turned out lovely. I can't get over all of your beautiful frames and I love your kitty. One couldn't find a better pose! The dogs in the photos are so cute. I would love to see all of them.

You should be proud of your plant. It must love the atmosphere in your home to grow that much in three years. Ihope you start feeling like decorating and take pictures for all of us to enjoy. After seeing your wreath, I can only imagine what your Christmas dec. will be like.

This is my first venture into the holiday forum that Jim told me about. Squeaky is such a little ham, and loves to be in photos! She's adorable.

Jim coached me long distance on my holiday mantle, which I'll put in a separate post.

Jim, it's nice to see you posting again. Your wreath looks great against that pretty wall color and the pics of the dogs on your wall make me smile, especially the ones in clothes. Your kitties look like they enjoy having their picture taken and I see that one looking for the "mouse" by your computer! LOL

Sorry you had some rough spots in your life--sometimes it's hard to find that silver lining isn't it? I really hate it when one of our forum friends just sort of disappears though--makes us worry about them! I hope you will be around more now--we love all the inspiration pictures you share and seeing how you decorate your home.

So glad to see you back. I love the shot of your Baby and see that you've trained him to 'handle' the remote!!!

The rich, jewel tones used in your wreath are stunning.

Hi Jim, and welcome back! I understand completely what you mean about being burnt out. I love your deer with the wreath, it will look great too when you "do it up" for Christmas.

Squeaky is adorable! Look like a TV fan, I like the fact that Squeaky is a female in control of the remote LOL!

Yes I do have a dao, her name is Selena.
Here's she is with her buddies--little did she know that she would become their bed.

I remember seeing your deer head last year. You are a great decorator.

Those are sweet picture of all your fur babies. - Gail

Selena doesn't even seem to know they are there. How sweet. They sure have a warm, soft bed.
    Thanks for sending the pics.

Jim, your pets are adorable and your decorating is not bad either! LOL Look forward to seeing your Christmas decor.

It takes a dog with a certain kind of personality to allow cats to sleep on her. We had a big (120 lb.) sheep guardian dog that let the lambs sleep on him also.
