OH WOW! Love all that layering! Beautiful texture and love the small candle light. I love how you tied in the napkin with the vase on the matel.
You DID it again! Your more is more and full setting is just LUSH!

W-O-W! I didn't really notice at first who had posted this and then I said to myself "this must be Jim" as I scrolled back up to check. When I saw it was you then I grinned and said "or JudithVA". I've been going in and out and didn't know you had returned. This is one of your best EVER!

SOOOO pretty! I would love to be able to create something like that. Well done indeed. :)

JUDITH I QUIT! You are just toooo darn good, it's GORGEOUS, BEAUTIFUL, words fail me after that! Oh my gosh, the DOGS, they are so cute in there!!!

That & all your decor needs to be in a magazine or on a TV SHOW!!!!!

Oh wow, that is beautiful and your dogs are a wonderful addition. Your silverware is so fall and it looks like a double napkin. Is that right? Down to your apple and nuts, just great. I agree, it belongs in a magazine. So lush and elegant. TFS Punk

At first I thought it was My3Dogs...then saw it was you.
Glad you got this in 'Late than Never'!

What a beautiful setting and color scheme.
    Love the dramatic lighting too.
    Everything is just perfect.

    Breathtaking!

I love every little single thing about it.

    Really lovely.

Once again, Judith, there really aren't words to express the beauty you create in your tablescapes! They belong in magazines..while you should be writing a book on them! With photos of course!
I am so glad you came back to us. Your displays never fail to take my breath away.
(now where the heck is Jim??)

    hugs, Karen

Never too late! We love looking at pretty pics anytime and all the time! I didn't remember that you had a fireplace--sure looks pretty all decorated like that. Love those tall candleholders on each side and I see you are into the pheasant feathers like several other's on here this year. That's a gorgeous tablecloth and I hadn't seen the little cabbage covered bowls before--how neat! So glad to have you back sharing your decorating with us again. ;o) Luvs

Hi all, hopefully my computer will be online long enough for me to post. :)

    You all are great!

Mary Ruth, Aw, thank you you are always so supportive.

pdg777, LOL, thank you, I am glad you liked it, I have another version of the table using my gold acorn nut bowl, but the green won out for this particular meal. You might have noticed the green bunny design, most people would only save it for Easter, but hey, I figure natures animals can fit in most any time. ;)

    sheesharee, thank you!

yachter, LOL, thank you too! You are always so kind to me too, have you sold all your puppies? As far as magazine and tv, well ;)

phonegirl, thank you, yes double napkins, I will do that alot if I have something reallyyyyyy messy, I have a ton of cloth napkins so I don't have to limit myself on them.

slinky, thank you, it is a very nice complement to be compaired to my3dogs, she has great style.

    gardentogarden, thank you too! :)

purplemoon, thank you, LOL, a book, oh the thought of writing UGH, you long timers know what a lousy writer I am LOL. I agree I miss Jim too, he has a great home and great inspiration photos that he generously shares with all.

Luvs, thank you, I am hoping to be back in the game more. I got the fireplace some months ago, it is a gel burning fireplace and I LOVE it. I have collected feathers (real and faux) for years, they are so expensive in my area, I finally have enough to use in the most suitable area in my house...my english manly style den. LOL

    Judith....simply spectacular!

When I saw your arrangement--my mind flashed on Ron Morgan and how your creation would be worthy of a spread in his The Center of Attention book
    You nailed it.

    BTW...love the pair of dogs.

This is so beautiful! The dog on the table made me laugh, becuase at my house it would have been a real dog on the table. My neices and nephews let my dogs in the house, I didn't realize it until that eaten all the pumpkin pie!! Luckily there is Perkins down the street that was open and still had pies!

You've one up-ed yourself with this one, Judith!!

    Simply Stunning!

I've never seen the covered bowls, either.
I'm trying to gather a nice set of the cabbage leaf for my DGS and have picked up quite a few serving pieces. I will be looking for those bowls now.

I sure would like a peek at your dinner and salad plates.

I'm quite taken with anything pheasant this year and finally found a few pheasant feathers in Richmond last week. My friend was in Danville and picked me up a few more at Hobby Lobby.

I certainly have a BEAUTIFUL inspiration picture now!

Welcome Home. Glad you're back and able to post. I'll take late from you any time! :o)

What a lovely table for one, Judith.
It is so rich looking..love all the textures..
    Good to see you again.
    I hope you are well!

Judith you do such lovely work. I always love seeing what you post. I just love the dog on your table!

    Thank you again all!

Lynn, thanks, I am working hard on my Christmas decor now, I have a ton to do!

Jim, I am glad to see you posting too, you always give so much inspiration to folks like me! That is one of my favorite books too, I worked in a florist shop one holiday season and I loved it, there is just something about real flowers, too bad most of them are soooo expensive. When I lived in Germany the flowers are so affordable, I wish it was like that here.

Donna in Fl, LOL, I know exactly what you mean, I have a yorkie, and if if leave something where he can get it, well forget it, he will have eaten it in a heart beat (I promise everyone that I feed him very well, but he is a glutton like me :)

Betty, thank you, I hope you are feeling better! I got the bowls one at a time as I found them mostly at TJ Max or Marshalls, ya gotta grab em' when you see em" LOL

kathleen, thank you. Since I am alone most of the time, I do lots of table for one, I figure I am worth it, I border on fetish when it comes to lidded bowls, I love my soup, chili to stay hot, so I use those type of bowls alot.

livvyandbella, thank you, I guess I am a bit surprised that everyone likes the table so much since it is not my usual over the top look, but as I told my DD, there is a saying in the movies, "never act next to a dog or a child, they will always "steal the scene from the actor". So it just goes to show what a cute little pug will do for a table. :)

jaybird, thank you. I am always glad to see Jim too, in fact I am off to comment on his post!

It certainly was better late than never. I have connection problems too so I can empathize.

Your table and mantle were just gorgeous. I'm glad you show them to us. - Gail
