The faster is dries, the less mildew- so poly...it's incredible how natural some poly fabrics appear and drape now a day.

Your liner (poly/plastic) is where mold and deposit-build- up is more a concern. After showers, we extend our curtain across so it will dry faster and moisture won't fester in the folds, then pull it back once dry. I like mine open so I can see my pretty tile- and my bath feels larger. The lightweight woven poly liners at BBB dry fast, and I've used these by themselves for years.

Oh- and bath fans on timers, ours runs 30 minutes, help a lot.

Thanks so much for that response -- tomorrow the absolute black granite countertop is scheduled to be installed...then it's basically finished. After that, if I can find someone with computer know-how to help me post pictures, I will but I am not very technologically smart that way.
