Money Saving Shopping Tip

Just a reminder...if you shop on line, go to mrrebates.com and sign up. Then link through them to your site. You will save a percentage, and sometimes free shipping. They will keep track of your rebates, and when you reach 25.00 or so, they email you and ask if you want your check.

I have been doing it for years, and it is totally free and it is nice to get the check!

Happy Shopping!!

(no the Dollar Tree is not one of their sites, but Target, overstock.com, Homedecorators.com, etc. ) It is worth the time to sign up.

Haven't done Mrrebate before but I have done MyPoints. Right now I almost have enough points for three $50 gift cards...after Christmas it will be MY turn to shop the sales with those cards!

Thanks for the suggestion, I am headed there right now to sign up for MrRebates.

Kathleen, shoot, I wonder if they do Amazon, I just ordered Rock Band from Amazon & didn't even know about this place!!!

Lori, just go to the site and type in the name of your site. They will tell you right away.

I know there are other programs, but this is the one I use and have had good results.

Can't see not taking advantage of money back...and so easily done. :0

Kathleen, Thanks for the great tip. I don't order much online, but maybe I should start ordering more. Any money back is great.

I didn't know about this either, Kathleen.
When I saw the title of your post, I thought you were going to tell folks not to come HERE till Jan. 1st. LOL Talk about a way to save money!!
Tho wouldn't be any fun at all and who wants that.

    hugs, Karen

If you go to gottadeal.com they tell you all the good deals online and off. They also get the Black Friday adds before Black Friday also.

Thanks Kathleen..I've use them too....I guess many of us use one form or another to get money off purchases made on line... I usually search for coupon codes for whatever place I'm purchasing from..and will either get money off or free ship...

You can sign up to be emailed of all the black Friday sales. They email you as soon as they get the ad. I think it is blackfriday.info

I don't get into that madness, but you can get good deals on line on cyber monday. Shop from home!

So true! I spent 90 min in TJMAxx, 90 in Home Goods and an hour in WmSonoma Pottery Barn outlet. I could have saved the economy all by myself!
But I was pretty good...because I don't NEED anything! But every year they have new things out that catch my eye!!
    I need the cure!!!!

Cure? Is there a cure????? I think you are outa luck on that one Kathleen. LOL

I keep telling myself to just not go to any of the stores that have the neat dishes and accessories--but I do love to browse and see all the pretty things. However, looking makes me want some of those and more of that! Even my little 4 year old GD told me she has the "I wants", I told her I have the same problem. I asked her if she was ready to go to work so we'd have more money to buy things. She said "Gramma, I don't know how to work, but we could ask my Daddy to give us some money so we could buy them!" Out of the mouths of babes! LOL Of course I told her I thought that was a wonderful idea! ;o)
