Bought them there last year - same price. They worked great. I have three Dormer Windows in my attic, I just put them up there, and they worked like a charm. Great Deal.

Kathleen, you are really into this Christmas shopping already! Guess it's good to get it early before everything is all picked over! ;o) It's no wonder I have so few Thanksgiving decorations--I tend to just go from Halloween right into Christmas because of all the stores and the sales. Nice that I get to use the Fall things for Sept. and Nov., won't change out the Fall things until Dec. 1st. Luvs

Luvs, we have to worry about weather here. We can never count on Dec to get out if it snows or ices. You gals in sunny Calif forget that. Today I was thinking about the lights outside. Just to get them up, not lit, because when it gets cold it is brutal out there! I remember one year it was 9 deg with the wind chill!
So I like to get things while it is still comfy to shop.
Like Jane said, I got them there last year on sale, and I always break a few bulbs, they are very thin.
But don't worry! I don't put things up till after Thanksgiving! And remember, we have a new gchild coming the end of the month, so I have to be prepared and ready to help there with the other 3 kids. So I want to get the shopping done early!

Brrr...Kathleen you have me shivering thinking about what you said. I love the holidays, but hate the cold..especially after Christmas..it's soooo bleak.
As far as the candle lights, I buy extra bulbs when I can too. It seems that no matter how safely I put them away, there is always a few that just don't work or get broken. You're smart to get started on whatever you can before your new gchild comes along. I've got 4 myself, and I've already done their shopping (thank goodness) it was easy this year. So I can relate to your situation. Luv's I guess with all the sunshine in Calif...it must be hard to shift gears to thinking ..Christmas and snow...at least I would feel that way..lol.

Kathleen...thank you for the tip on the window candles I will have to go look for them as well...:)
In regards to putting the Christmas lights up soon , I can relate. We've had unseasonally warm weather and as much as we enjoyed it we'll have a price to pay - lake effect snow...lol
The last time we had warm weather like we've had this year and the lake was this warm I remember whining that I wanted a white Christmasa on 12-23, well Christmas eve it started snowing and in a 48 hour period we ended up with almost 6 feet...lol
I am seriously contemplating to at least install my lights on the house soon because standing on a 22 foot ladder in blizzard like conditions doesn't even remotly sound like fun...lol

Tam, remember last winter when we were urging you to go Cmas Tree Shops and Wegmans in a snow storm to buy dishes, LOL
I hope your son will help you with those lights. None on the house anymore for us, just the trees and railings. No way I am climbing a ladder!
Jane, is there a special bulb for the sensor..I never seem to find them???

No Kathleen...I just use a regular candle light bulb. I thought you were supposed to use special ones too...however, I discovered that any of the candle lightbulbs work. It seems the sensor is built in...hopes this helps.

Tamgypsy, may I ask what area you live in...it sounds a lot like where I recently bought a second home.

Thanks, Jane. I must have had a bad one, as it wouldn't work. So I replaced it. I have to remember to get some more of the things you slip under the window so they don't fall over.

Kathleen, thanks so much for the tip, will go there tomorrow. I passed a big farm house the other nite while driving on a back road to grdsons basketball game, on the way home, every window in the house had a candle light in it, looked so inviting.

I have some candles but they are not sensor ones, so want to get them & I usually leave them in all winter. Makes the house look cozzier!!!

Hey, Lori, how have you been? Hope things are going well for you.
Yes, I love how they look in the window, and the sensors save me from running around plugging them in!

I bought my sensor lights at Wal Mart several years ago and I leave them in year round, I just love them. Makes the house seem warm and cozy and very family atmosphere.Never pland to take them out.

Kathie738P...I live just outside of Buffalo NY and have been here 9 years.
I used to live for 8 years in Colorado and people here in WNY always tell me I should be used to the snow. Well, no, it is not the same. In Colorado it snows 'pretty' and you can have blue skies and sunshine after a blizzard. In WNY it snows 'sideways' and is grey for 6 months. It certainly took some getting used to and after putting Christmas lights on the house during a Lake effect snow storm I have learned my lesson to do it early, this weekend my lights will be installed on the house...LOL

Tamgypsy,I know what you mean about snow in Buffalo. Last October 13th they had a terrible snowstorm that destroyed about half of the city's trees. My mother had no electricity for nine days and she's in the suburbs, in Clarence. As a kid, I remember it getting cloudy in November and you didn't see the sun again until March. Talk about Seasonal Affective Disorder!

jannie, I remember that October 13th storm well. I had to work 48 hours straight because of it (I work for a Cellphone carrier on the technical side...no power to houses also means no power to cellsites), it also triggered me to have a permanent generator installed at my home, I will never be without power again and/or bail water in the basement because the sump pump stops working..lol
