I'd planned on having the mirror company cut a hole for my light fixture but am wondering if that's a good idea. Are there reasons I shouldn't? Here is a rough sketch of the arch and stiles(for lack of a better word) of the vanity. If I didn't do a light fixture on the mirror, what could I do? Stop the mirror at the top of the stiles? I can't picture that looking good. Or is my best bet to use pendants, hanging them aligned with center of the stiles. There will be a wall cabinet to the right of the vanity so I don't think I'd have room for sconces. If the fluted stiles are wide enough, I could mount the sconces on them??
