Come On Susan...it only comes Once A Year..and then it's all gone till next year!!

Your off to a good start. Cute snowmen collection, and I like how you used the snowflakes as accents for them.
I spy a nice cardinal tucked in among them, and is he
sitting on >> Of All Things >> An Acorn?
The Acorn Fanatics here, would just love him!!

Looking forward to seeing more as your go along.

Yep, I noticed the cardinal on the acorn right away too--luckily I've got one of those too--great find at the Dollar Tree (or Twenty Dollar Tree according to Karen!);o)

Great find on that big snowman, and your collection of blue ones is cute. Isn't it fun to see all those cute little happy faces? Can't wait to see what you decorate next--no rush, I think you still have about 14 days! ;o)

Very pretty! You need some of the snowman plates I found at Dollar General.

Jane, I spotted that cardinal and acorn also. Besides loving acorns lately, I've also went crazy over cardinals (and birds in general).

    I like your collection.
They all look so happy and make you smile.

That big one was a great find.

Jane, I'm just having my own little pity party :-) I work for the Sheriff's dept and so does my son and we both have to work Christmas eve and day,and since we're both working,my daughter and the kids are going to Texas to spend Christmas with the new in-laws, so it's been kind of hard to get in the Christmas spirit. But, that's okay.. I have so much to be thankful for. And maybe people will be nice to each other this Christmas, and my son and I will have a good day.And yes.. that is a cardinal on an acorn. The Dollar Tree just had the one left and since I just happen to love cardinals,I changed his zip code for him :-)

Luvs, gee thanks ... here I was avoiding counting days..lol !

Tammy, did you get the blue and white plates with the snowmen in the center ? I got 8 of them and saucers and bowls to match :-) and the Dollar Tree has some really pretty little chickadees and other birds, so I got some of them too .. lol !

Jen, thanks ! I saw a lady looking at the snowman and kept holding my breath hoping she didn't want him. When she set him back down, I snatched him up before she changed her mind .. lol ! Not bad for $2.00 huh ?

Gosh, Susan, no wonder its hard to get in the Christmas spirit. I'm sorry you and DS have to work (I always hated it when my cop sons had to do that and miss our big family Christmas Eve get-together). I know you will really miss your daughter and grandkids with them going to TX this year.
I hope your happy little Snowman Convention makes you smile some. (how could those faces not?!!) That was a neat idea to use the baker's rack for their display.

I'll be thinking of you and your son, and praying for a safe and quiet Christmas at work! (don't the bad guys take holidays? Jeez, seems not!)

    hugs, Karen

Susan, some of my fondest Christmas memories comes from the week after through NYD. Everyone is in a good mood, so you still have a good time to look forward to!

I have the same Baker's Rack and I love it! I hung some things off it, but I should have decorated it like you did your's! Job well done!

    Susan,
We're all so very thankful there are people like you and your DS who sacrifice to keep us safe. Don't think we don't think of our police officers and soldiers and firemen (and all the others) who have to do their duty, even on Christmas!

Love your snowmen--they look cold and happy at the same time. Nice job!

Yucky to have to work on holidays...but anytime family can get together for Christmas is still a holiday! (so hope you can celebrate tog on another day) Thanks to you and your DS for what you do! Am so happy to have SIL now home for good & retired from the service...those holidays overseas are lonesome for everyone here & there! But so appreciate our service people who protects so many!

Your baker's rack is lovely...if you have the plates, I'd use them, too! Have fun! TFS your pics! Jeanne S.
