ceiling track for shower curtain?

we've got a window opposite the shower head that makes it impossible to put up a normal shower curtain rod, and we've got a vent in the ceiling along the path where a straight ceiling track would go. so we're stuck on what to do to hang up a shower curtain! any suggestions?

i'm considering a curved ceiling track that might go around the vent in the ceiling. has anyone tried this, and if so, thumbs up or thumbs down?

Your solution may be the best if you are trying to widen the space in the shower.

I installed a suspended rod like the one shown on this link to Amazon. If you look down the Amazon page they show the type rings (chrome with balls) that I used. It works great and looks super.

There are a bunch of different options on this website that you may be able to combine a wall piece on one end with a ceiling piece on another end. Poke around there ->
