bathroom wallpaper

I have a powder room without windows. The toilet and vanity are both black. We haven't purchased a mirror yet. I love this pattern, but wanted to get opinions as to if it is right for this room. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I don't personally care for the wallpaper, but if you love it, I think it could work - If you replace the black toilet and sink with white, and find an oriental shaped mirror. Or the black might work if you replace the counter top with a white marble. I think it's the combination of black, warm granite, and oriental blue that doesn't look right as is.

The paper might work in a Chinese red ink, but not the blue. A reflective silver paper should be considered due to the lack of windows. Is there a room with windows in the adjacent room. I often will put high windows just under the crown to have the light reach the windowless bath.

This same pattern comes in red as well.

I like the wallpaper, and don't mind it with the black toilet (though my first choice would be white) however the wallpaper and that countertop are not working at all. If you decide you have to have that wallpaper, I would seriously consider a new countertop (photos of the vanity and the floor would be helpful here!)

i like it, but it is clashing with the pink in the granite, this are some options I would naturally gravitate towards in the given context,

I completely agree with Carolyn. If you are going to keep the black fixtures the wallpaper should have some black in it. You can add some accessories by picking up the second color in your countertop.

I'd have to see it to tell if the red is dark enough, it should complement the pink in the granite. I'm sure some of the black reds in the bing images would work well. The silver foils are another possibility as an is accent wall done with a mural like this

I'm not fond of this orange-red version with your counters either....tell us, are the countertops open for discussion?

I love the wall paper I agree with the rest of the forum, either replace or repaint the toilet and you can paint your counter tops as well. there are so many options on how to marble, glaze or do anything to change the counter tops with out completly replacing them. If U cant change the toilet the red version of the paper would be beautiful next to the black toilet and you could make the counter tops a faux black marble all through krylon paint. and primer. Step by step instructions are on pinterest. That would be very rich and beautiful! Since the pattern on the paper is a little busy use a simple silver mirror or I actually found an amazing one today at Lowes by Allen and Roth that is square and had some silver embellishments that would be perfect it was only 89$. Use basic white towels maybe piped in black. Keep the shower curtain very simple. Maybe solid white waffle print with a black monogram in the center.

Thanks for all the comments. I think I will continue looking for another wallpaper better suited for this bathroom and use the blue wallpaper somewhere else. Really appreciate all the help.

I like the blue and can see that there is black in the images. I think it would look lovely. Don't be afraid.
I concur with the others that if you can change out or modify the counter top it would look much better. I like the idea of using Oriental mirror and accessories also.
