Just installed the Samsung RGF297AARS and Bosch double ovens HBL8650UC. Salesman who also sold Thermador indicated that the 800 series Bosch was mechanically equivalent to the Thermador Masterpiece oven. Only issue I have thus far (1week) is the LED on the Samsung is blue and on the Bosch amber and they are next to each other. I have not determined if the LED can be turned off or put in standby for either appliance.

cuse69, My refrigerator and ovens will be next to each other also. I was wondering about the different color displays but am glad that I am not the only one. I was thinking perhaps that I was being too picky. I wonder what the color the LED dislay is on the Masterpiece oven!

The Thermador website indicates blue text, no indication of any other background color. On the Bosch the entire LED/LCD is amber.

If you are serious about a Thermador I'm sure your dealer could answer or find out.
