Reinder R&R

After Christmas Santa, Mrs Claus and some of the Elves went south for some much needed rest and warm weather after the busy holiday.
Reindeer, I've been told, prefer the colder temperatures of the North Pole.
There they can feast on moss, oats, and maybe some carrots and an apple or two.
And enjoy playing their Reindeer games.

My "dear" friend asked if i would like to use her Reindeer napkin rings and candle holder, who could say no?
DD1 found the wrapping paper that I used as the runner. It is perfect for the rustic look I was going for.

OH I love this, nana! The napkin rings loaned to you are perfect ...adorable & the centerpc, too! I love the idea of wrapping paper for the runner...pattern & colors are great & you've built the place settings around that ... so woodsy! Pretty plates, salad plates & flatware! Everything is 'Reindeer R&R' for sure! TFS! Jeanne S.

Nana this is such a cute setting...LOVE the napkin rings ( nice friend)
And the wrap paper runner is so clever and goes perfectly with your color scheme.
The reindeer on pedestals are adorable and the Reindeer CP is such a nice piece...You coordinated everything perfectly for this table.
I think this is one of the cutest after Christmas tables I've seen!

Nana, what an awesome table! Looks like there could be some reindeer games with this setting. Love all the reindeer, your clever runnner that matches perfectly. The metal trees are adorable with this setting. I'm lovin' the colors of this ts.

You set another wonderful table. TFS and keep up the great work.

Nana, once again you are spot on with your cute table!
You come up with such cute and clever ideas!!

    Let the reindeer games begin!
Also, so nice of your friend to lend you such perfect accessories for this table. The colors and the pieces are all just wonderful together.

I have a table that I started and then didn't get finished.
You are inspiring me to get out there and "git r dun!" LOL

I didn't get around to doing a New Years table as I was working yesterday and then we went to the New Years Eve at the zoo with my youngest DD and her family and my DM. Our zoo does what they call "Wild-lights" during the holidays and through the stock show here in Denver. They do the most fabulous light display throughout the entire zoo and then of course, have hot cocoa, popcorn, overpriced light toys, and other treats for sale, LOL It really is a spectacular light show!

The weather was amazingly mild and it was just a beautiful night! Dylan (2) and Cody (5) were almost as overdressed as the younger brother in the Christmas Story movie, but were real troopers and at one point were pulling the wagon together instead of riding in it, LOL Toooo cute!!! Of course I am a bit biased, but it was a beautiful way to end the year.

The reindeer were already in "bed" for the night, but there were some animals in their pavilions that could be seen in addition to the lights.

    Really cute table!!

    Happy New Year everyone,

I also love your creativity and the stories with your tables.
    Such fun!

Candy, LOL, on the evening of the 29th I was at OUR Zoo lights with 4 friends! Sounds like you and I had pretty identical times!! :o) I'd never been before and
    really enjoyed it.
