Love it Sandi, it all flows together so well, and you really did it by finding great bargains--I always love that too. Your houses, the two kinds of candles, the ornaments, the little snowflakes and those cute place card holders as well as that cute snowman just go together to make it just perfect! ;o)

I once had some little covered bowls similar to your's--back before I discovered this forum--I thought I would never need them and they were just taking up space in the cupboard, so I donated them. Darn!

    Sandi,
Ditto on what everybody else said. Everything looks great together. I love the place card holders. Like Luvs said, the best part about it is that they were all great deals! LOL... not many people I know in real life appreciate that sentiment, so this place is just great for me! And the little houses are sooo cute.

Great job! Love the different blues to aqua and the blue peeking out of the tablecloth. The place cards and the wire trees, etc. I love every thing.

Sandi, I see what you meant by us having the same tastes!!! LOL LOL, Ok, so we have the same dish tastes that's for sure!!!! Love your table, I didn't have any casseroles or bowls to go on the plates. I'm going to create something a little different than my one in the xmas table post, just remembered I had more snowflakes!!!!

Kath, I had seen yours when you posted it before & said how I loved the red plaid placemats with the red dishes, it all looks perfect!

    My "cocktail" Flake Off Table:

Kath, the red and white looks very pretty with the snowflakes!

Sandi, how pretty all your blues are...and I know you are not into blue! It looks so pretty with your houses and tinted blueflakes! Did you make the snowflakes on the glasses too? It looks very pretty!

Lori, pretty cocktail flake off! Pass the appetizers!

I may get to my flake offs next week...busy times here!

    Thank you.

Kathleen, The snowflake glasses are from Dollar Tree. I just glued blue glitter on some of the snowflakes. LOL

Yachter, I love your cocktail table. Are those doilies on the placemats? I love your blue & green stems. And I love your blue trees. What a cute idea to use a dome over your hanging ornie.

Sandi, they are Heritage Lace & were sold in sets, a set of small ones & a set of large ones, some years ago at a small linen store in a town south of me.

They were made to go in the windows at Christmas time, with those suction cup holders. I did use them for several years in my bay window.

Yachter, They are very pretty and look perfect on your placemats.

Thanks for explaining about the "flake off." How pretty and how individual everyone's table is. I'll be sitting back and admiring all your tables.

Found this cute little snowman candle lamp and thought he would be cute for one of my Flake Off tables. (Yes, I might do more than one!) LOL

I used some doilies for the center of the table, and just used plates I already owned along with the new snowflake napkins I found.

Then I switched out the doilies and used a snowflake dishtowel I had bought.

Hope you enjoy them, and remember, I'm a better painter than a table decorator! ;o)

Please, please, everyone, if it is not too much trouble, use a bigger size picture.
Everything looks so cute, but you can see much detail when they're so little.
    Thanks, OA

Luvs, Photobucket is not letting me enlarge all of your pics, but the ones I can see are so cute. I love your snowman candlelamp and his little candy cane arms & legs. Your snowflake napkins are really pretty and I love the snowflakes on the napkins. I can't enlarge any of the pics with the doilies in the center of the table, but I love the snowflake dishtowel and greenery in the center.

WAA, me too, can't see all of them., the last 2 enlarge..looks so cute...love the little lamp. everything looks so cheery! :)

Sorry, I only know how to post this way from Photobucket. I've been emailing back and forth with them to get the problem solved.

Let me try a couple of other ways of posting and see if it will work. Be patient while I try to get you some larger pics.

    Luvs

These both enlarged when I clicked on them. Are they enlarging for anyone else? I appreciate your help. Luvs

    Here you go:

Luvs, very cute, the snowman is the perfect centerpiece. I didn't realize there were so many snowflake items out there to buy. Those napkins are really pretty!

Hope you don't mind I enlarged your pics, just trying to help out, but it's hard to explain how I did it. If you want, I can try!!

    Luvs,
Your second set of pics enlarged correctly for me. Very nice table. The snowman really sets the stage. I cant tell which one of the two centerpiece I like better!! And your dishes are very nice - the fruit(?) border has a nice textural look to it.

Yachter, your cocktail table is very pretty. Again love those trees and see you have your pretty ornament there.

Luvs, table looks great. I love how you did both with the snowman table/lamp. I like it elevated best but the other way is probably better for eating.

I'm just loving all these tables. Luvs I have given up on the clickable photos...Been just putting the picture in the post. It makes it slower for dial ups.. but it's all very frustrating. The second set worked correctly. I love the snowman lamp and I think the red and white towel the best.

I can not do any more shopping!!!

Yachter thanks for your help on those. I think I may have discovered the problem on my clickable posts--not sure but my new laptop opens as 32 bit, but I have the option for 64 bit. I have to connect the 64 bit to run allot of utube type things, and on those last two pics, I tried using it and it seemed to work okay. Not a computer person, but will experiment a couple more times and hope I've solved my problem.

It always used to work just fine up until about Halloween--so don't know if it's my computer or Photobuckets changes. Anyone else having problems with it? If so, please email support@photobucket.com and let them know it's not just me having problems.

I like to use the smaller clickable pics because then our posts will stay on here longer. My understanding is that the longer the posts, the faster they bump the old ones off. I think our archives go back to 2005 now, and there's lots of neat pics and info in those old ones.

Yachter, if my theory doesn't work, and Photobucket doesn't solve the problem, I will take you up on your offer to teach me to post larger pics. ;o)

    Luvs

    Luvs,
I really don't get how Photobucket works, so this may not be the problem. But did you check to see if your albums are locked? If so, do you think that's what stopping the pictures from opening up?

Great tables, Ladies. All are just wonderful. I am saving the photos to post in our table setting album.

    hugs, Karen

Luvs, I thought of you & your snowman candlelamp again yesterday when I was in Walmart. They had some cute Christmas candlelamp tops, but the bottoms were fat glass jars with candles inside. Yours is so much cuter.

Thanks Sandi, this one has a Kohl's sticker on the bottom and was originally $13.99, I got it at GW for $3.99. Just love those TS prices! I have it in the livingroom where all my snowmen are displayed so it fits right in. ;o)

    Luvs

Luvs, I had to enlarge your pic on photobucket & then take that link to post them. It shouldn't make a difference, the link is the same as the thumgnail picture link!

I have not had a problem with mine from photobucket, but sometimes it freezes up on me when I'm downloading pics & it will download maybe 2 of 4 & then I have to cancel & start over, the 2 are there but not 3 & 4.

Yachter, I've had that happen to me too--but haven't complained to Photobucket about it yet. They seem to be really concerned and are checking out the "click on the thumbnail to enlarge" problem.

I haven't tried doing the posting one at a time and going back and forth to get all the ones I want to post. I love being able to click on as many as I want from the page and using the button on the bottom so I can post several at one time. I'm confident that they will get it figured out--but we do need to make sure we let them know when we are having a problem, otherwise we just get frustrated and move to another photo service without giving them a chance to correct it. I really do appreciate the site, and love that it is FREE! Luvs

Beautiful! That's a very elegant flake off! So silvery and icy...just lovely!
    Centerpiece looks great too!

What did you put under the plates so they don't slip around on the flakes?? I had trouble with that last year, so this year I bought the soft ones...

Mine is going to be after Cmas, snowmany kind!
You did a great job...now where are the bargain bowls?

Oh Dreamgoddess! Just so lovely and icy! Love what you did on the chairs, the menu cards...everything!

    Kath

That is just gorgeous! Love all your white, silver and crystal items. You did a great job on it--as always I love your style. Luvs

Thanks everyone! I had so much fun with this tablesetting! I think this is one of my most favorite ones that I've ever done.

This was such a great idea...I've really enjoyed seeing how everyone has taken one theme and decorated around it.

Dreamgoddes, love your tablescape. It is so elegant and beautiful. Even the kids table is so beautiful. I bet they won't complain sitting there.

    Merry Christmas!

    Dreamgoddess,
Thats a fancy table with a fancy menu too! :) Love the mirror centerpiece. I scrolled all the way to the bottom of the thread first and so I was only seeing the pics without seeing the poster's name but I could tell by the second pic that it was your table! :)

And snowflakes till March around here!
    Merry Christmas everyone!

Kathleen, I'm so jealous that you have snow! It's Christmas Day and it's supposed to be about 70 degrees here in Alabama. Disgusting!

Mo, you know you're addicted when you recogize people's tables! Doncha love it!!! LOL!

dreamgoddess, I have a collections of deers and wondering if your deer are glass or acrylic. They are so pretty and different from any I have. I would really like to know where you found them. I don't post often, but love to look at all the table settings, they have been so pretty.

Mamerjj, the buck is acrylic and I bought it from Christmas Central. I tried to find it on their website and link it for you, but it's not there anymore. I guess they've sold out of them.

The fawn is glass and one of a pair that I found on eBay. The glass doe also was bought on eBay and I believe she started out life as a buck. There's a spot on her head where it feel rough. I think she originally had antlers and maybe they were broken off. It's not really noticeable though, you can tell it more by feel.

Please don't be a stranger to posting! Just jump on in and join us. If you'd like to post photos, we would love to see them too!

Mamerjj, please do post more. And if at all possible, I'd LOVE to see your deer. I have a very small collection going of reindeer for my Xmas decorating and really enjoying seeing ones others have.

    hugs, Karen

Dream, I thought I had posted a comment but do not see one....That is sooo stunning!!! So elegant and shiney! More beautiful figurines. I can't even pick a fav photo they are all beautiful. I seem to be getting a thing for trees though... like the crystal ones and the white ones. I still wana come stay at your house!!

Dream, could you get a better photo of that huge laying reindeer buck for me. He is fabulous!

    hugs, Karen

I am just LOVING viewing these pictures!
    Everyone's settings are just AWESOME!

dreamgoddess I love that icy look!

Karen, here you go...photos of all three deer. I had to take photos of them on my bar since I had already changed out the tablesetting.

This is the one that I think began life as a buck, but now is a doe.

Thank you for closeup photos of your deer. They are so pretty. Especially the standing buck. The big laying one looks really nice as a doe, but must have been terrific with antlers!

    Late to this party!
Max, I love, love, love your apothocary jar. And the way you set it off with the sparkly wreath is the icing on the cake!
    Nice job.
Sandi, as usual your painting talent was the start of a great table.
Yacht, I've already told you how I love those blue trees. And I love the touches around them that just connected them to the table so well. The snowballs, pinecones, and birds really pull everything together. I still have to learn how to add those touches.
    Luvs,
I can't decide which of your settings I like best. I think the one with the little snowman raised off of the table. Both are great. I once had wine glasses like your's. After moving 4 times I can't find them anywhere!
Dream, your table is soooo elegant. Love it all! Every little detail.

Gorgeous tables everyone! Thanks for sharing!

VERY LATE in posting but wanted to comment on the "Flake Off" tables in this post as well.

Max, putting red with your snowflake theme really gave it a Christmas feel. I love that apothecary jar you have as a centerpiece and the snowflake napkin rings are great!

Sandi, your table looks so "COOL"! The blue and silver with the white gives a nice frosty touch. The sparkly snowflake placemats are great. I especially like those little soup pots you have!

Yachter, like everyone else here, I have "blue tree envy"! Those are fantastic and you tied them in so well with the items you used. Those blue/green cocktail glasses look perfect with the colours. Your snowflake placemats are the best!

Luvs, your table is so unique because you creatively used things with snowflakes on them like the little snowman candle-lamp as a centerpiece, he is so cute! I like how your table looks Christmas-y as well with the use of red.

Dream, what a fabulous "ICY" look you have created! So romantic like your other settings. Love the attention to detail with the decorations on the backs of the chairs as well. Your menu sounds so delicious. So wish I could have been a guest at your dinner!
