Is this the model PHB925SP? That is the only GE Profile induction range that I know of.
All the reviews I've read of it are good and positive, so I'm not sure why you are having issues.
What problems are you having?
We've seen it at the stores, and have thought about buying it. The local Sears had the floor model for sale at $1350 a few weeks ago, but there was some scrapes in the cooktop and scratches on the stainless, so we passes at it. But it was a good price, since it's $2100 new.
Sine all the Sears stores in the US are selling their floor models, it makes me wonder if GE is about to release a new induction model.

Actually it is a cook top, model number PHP900. I would think that reliability should be the same for a cook top and a range from the same manufacturer.
We love the performance of the induction - but the electronics is an issue. The first one that failed had an error code and it was cheaper to replace the entire unit rather than fix the one thing.
For this one, the repair person is coming tomorrow; so we don't know the issue yet. There is no fault code, just every burner is set at 8 1/2 and the timer is going off and there is no touch response. This happened about 3 hours after we had last used it. We had to turn off the circuit breaker. Sometimes if you leave the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds or so, the unit will reset. This didn't work for us.
Very disappointing, cause otherwise we love the induction cooking itself.
