Ordered my BlueStar!

I ordered and paid my deposit on my BlueStar on Saturday. I'm so excited! RNB30" in color 5011 (which is a navy blue) and the new electric French door wall oven, also in navy. They say 6-8 weeks for it to come in, and the wall oven may take longer. I'm hoping to have them ready to cook on for Christmas!

I'm attaching here a picture in cobalt of my new stove. My color will be a darker navy (knobs too), but this is as close as it lets me build online.

And the web picture of the french door wall oven (I got the single, not the double) (in navy). I'm totally excited about this!!!

Congrats! That looks like a nice set of colors:-)

Congrats, I hope they stick to their time frames for you, but I wouldn't plan any family dinners around xmas time based on having the new equipment just in case they run late.

Plus you will want to have some "Testing" time on them so you don't ruin a great meal.

Enjoy them when they get there!!

I haven't looked at wall ovens much yet but that french door looks amazing. I don't blame you for being excited! Navy will be gorgeous. Enjoy! :)

    So jealous.

Oooooh those are pretty. We start our reno in two weeks and I'm already planning for my next kitchen. Adding the French door oven to the list!

Anyone here had any experience with a bluestar 24" gas wall oven? Can't find reviews anywhere on the 24".

    Thanks!

Still loving mine more than a year in..... Cast iron grates don't look brand new anymore and I have gotten over the occasional hassle of cleaning the oven with easy off but I would do it again in a heart beat.

    Pretty!
Can't wait to see them installed.
I never heard of BS until I joined GW and they are made in my home town.

Been looking for feedback on the BlueStar electric wall oven and it is hard to find. Was wondering if you could report back on the status of your ovens and any likes/dislikes. Thanks!

Carree, yours is beautiful! I'm kind of anxious for the grates to season a bit. They're a little bit rough with the dishrag. I'd like to see what yours look like now.

Grace, I don't have the electric yet. In December, Blue Star explained that all the electric wall ovens were "pre-orders" and they're waiting on one more part that is due in January. Then they'll finish building and start fulfilling orders. They told me "first quarter" so I'm assuming March sometime.

In the meantime, I have discovered that hvac and everyone else was right about the hood, and I have ordered the 30" Ventahood 600cfm in the same navy color. It also should arrive in March (8 weeks build time).

Love the navy! Wish I had the guts to choose it. I tried to configure my white bluestar online but it didn't give me the option of white knobs. Maybe they don't have that feature online and I just need to ask my local dealer to include them when I order one?

Beautiful! Looks like you have the same stove that I bought 2 years ago. I had them mix a custom blue color for me. Actual color is like the one in the value square in the lower right hand corner. I love my range and I'm so glad I went with Blustar.

Beautiful jirka! Mine is actually RAL5011 steel blue. In my language, it is navy and matches my Sherwin Williams Naval island.

Kcharles, yes order the handles from your dealer when you order your range. I believe the handles are $48 each for color. If you go to your dealer when a BS rep is doing a demo, you will get free{{gwi:807}} color for your range (but not handles). And don't be afraid of color if you like it. My other appliances are white (and new) so I didn't want stainless. My isand and walls are navy so I went with it. I love it! Can't wait for wall oven.

Close to ordering the 30" BS, but not sure about the hood. Was hoping to stay with a 30" hood as well. Will that work and Deb52899 can you elaborate on the following?

"In the meantime, I have discovered that hvac and everyone else was right about the hood, and I have ordered the 30" Ventahood 600cfm "

I meant hvtech, not hvac. Sorry. Anyway, we have an otr microwave that is 300cfm. In the BS manual it says minimum 300cfm for our stove (althought BS engineers said 700cfm). Almost every time I use the stove, the microwave vent turns on automatically and the microwave gets very hot, even inside. So we figured we needed the vent like everyone said. We had to retrofit into our existing cabinets so we went with a ventahood 600cfm under the cabinet model that vents outside. It came in the same RAL colors as BS. We will test to see if make up air is needed after install and do whatever needs to be done (DH delaing with that).

Looks very nice. I really like the accents on the backsplash, and that blue is a great color.
