Bathroom remodel Help

I am planning to redo my guest/2nd bathroom which is small, long and narrow with a tub.

I want to use honed traverine. What is the trend? All the walls tiled, half tiled (currently in place) or no tiles (just painted walls)?

Is a sealed honed traverine Ok? Is it a pain to upkeep?

Would a sealed tumbled marble be more forgiving?

Tub - acrylic or cast iron? I have a cast iron one that is over 50 years old. Do all tubs now have those horrible anti-slip strips that get ugly over time? Howe do keep them white?

Is there bathroom gallery like the finished kitchens blog?

Can you post recent photos including vanity?

I know I will have tons more questions but this is just a start.
