I've recently purchased a 36" Wolf induction cooktop, & while it has plenty of water-boiling power it doesn't seem to cook items like hamburgers well  wouldn't cook at all until I hit the highest temperature, and then didn't brown (All Clad pan).

Also, the power control jumps two bars instead of one at a time, in spite of what Wolf promised.

Anybody been here? the repair guy is coming tomorrow, but it would be nice if I had some backup. Thanks! Kate.
