Bathroom remodels - suggestions requested

I may have posted this a couple of times but I can't seem to find it - sorry if it comes up twice!

I just found this bath forum and hope you all can pitch in and help transform our new home. We have renovated four homes (major gut and renovations) but this go around I am trying to stay with cosmetic changes such as paint, fixtures, etc to start. We need to move in and then if we tear out and redo later so be it.

These three guest baths are at the top of the list. We may eventually tear out the tile and start over but I hope you all can help me make due with these tiles!

Ok - if this posting works I have some pictures to share:

Bath 1-

This is the downstairs bath. You can see it is pretty nondescript and ready for your suggestions. We are thinking of going dark (maybe black or charcoal for the vanity but then what about the walls?) but are open to your thoughts!

Bath 2 -

Next are pics of a Jack and Jill bath between two of the guest rooms. It is pretty bland as well. What suggestions do you have for wall color and vanity color?

Bath 3 -

And last we have another guest bath that has grey tile and a true blast from the past with the red stripe in the shower. PLEASE HELP!

What's your budget? What's your style? What's the rest of your house look like? Are you looking for inexpensive updates or are your creating a high-end dream home?

Thanks for the response - I look forward to your thoughts. This is a high-end home in a very expensive area but at this time I am hoping to get by as I noted in my previous post with just cosmetics on these baths. Paint, light fixtures, new towel bars, etc. That is the issue - at this time I am looking to style it up a bit and that is all - these are guest baths not the master and the baths and tile are in good shape (just dated in style).

To give you some idea about the home - The kitchen is a high end commercial style kitchen that was just redone and the master bath has been renovated as well with marble, spa shower with multiple jets, spa tub, European cabinetry, etc.

The market area average price for a home is over 1 million so eventually I will likely totally redo these guest baths as well but not right now.

I hope you guys have some good ideas! I saw a great example on here recently where the "boys bathroom" had loud colored wallpaper in a check style with a similar tile. She removed the paper, painted the vanity black, added new hardware and some toile wallpaper and it looks fantastic! That is what I am hoping for at this time - except I'd prefer paint to paper if possible.

    Thanks again!

Since you're looking for paint ideas, you might want to post your question on the decorating forum as some of the posters there are brilliant with paint suggestions.

I like the idea of painting the vanity in bath #1 a dark espresso color, and painting the walls the same color but several shades lighter. Swap out the faucets and cabinet hardware for something more modern if that goes with your kitchen. Also, you don't show the light fixtures but those could be easily changed as well.

    Good luck!

The people over on the Home Decorating Forum can help you a lot. They are soooo good about how to transform rooms. Post your pictures over there and see what they can do.

    P.S.

The pictures you were looking at regarding the remodeled bathroom was over on Home Decorating Forum, Page 3, written by MsRose. It may have dropped to Page 4 due to the heavy traffic they have over there.

I am anxious to see what they tell you. You have some neat pictures and that is always so helpful.

I like the black cabinets with the beige.

    Hope this will help you.

In the completely white bathrooms I'd re-do the grout with a colored grout, like a forest green or a royal blue...and then use towels and accessories in same color. In the gray with red stripe, not much you can do with that red stripe but remove that line of tiles and retile it with something more appealing (and then re-do grout to match if your floors are plain tiles). Sounds like you have a very nice home...and a good investment to keep for awhile!

I would re-do the all white bathrooms. I think the tile needs to come out to update it. I'm sorry to say that it just needs that boost because there is so much white tile. That must be a b***er to keep clean: ( You don't have to go expensive tile just an upgrade. Nice thing is that you have 3 bathrooms!!!! Your fortunate that you have the DIY experience to save in cost.
I hope I'm not offending but I just think you'd be please with the outcome more so considering you've remodelled 4x's in the past.
