Has anyone discovered a good flatbottom stainless steel griddle for smooth cooktops? My new range has this great bridge element, but I haven't stumbled on a good griddle to use with it. Many of them are either anodized aluminum or regular aluminum. Bummer. I've spent this week discarding almost all my old cookware because the bottoms have warped a bit. Hadn't realized how much trouble it would be to replace the pans with ones I like. I really am not up for glass lids (something for my husband to break), lon-n-ng metal handles (like I need to be two feet away from the cooktop) and I hate the rivets in the newer pans. It's the thing I least like about the All-Clad saute pans I have. I only have one pan cupboard, so I'm really careful about getting just the right pots and pans, but it's not as much fun to shop for them as I would have thought.
