Sadie, thanks so much for your post! I just got the last of the Demeyere Pawson pieces from a very helpful salesperson at the Soho store. Never would have done it had it not been for the sale, which I wouldn't have known about had it not been for you post. Have you had a chance to use yours much? Handle love aside, how do you like it? wow! I'm amazed they sold everything out! I was actually thinking about going back and getting MORE.

Actually all my new pots went into storage until my move back into my reno'd home on July 1st.

One of the reasons (besides it is demeyere and also incredibly beautiful) that I loved the pots is the shape of the handle. With all other handles (all clad, other demeyere) I simply cannot get a good enough grip to actually pour from a heavy pan. John Pawson is a GENIOUS!!!!

Cashew - you had asked me about how I liked cooking with the Demeyere pans. I finally moved in to my new kitchen and have used them every day. I think they are definitely superior to All-Clad. There is something about the finish that allows the food to release almost as though they had a non-stick finish on them.

I have been using the small fry pan for omelettes and have no problem using the shake and flip method (learned from watching old julia child episodes) on it.

I am very pleased with the purchase and while I'm not throwing out my old all-clad saute pans will now only buy demeyere when adding to my collection.
