Dacor downdraft with remote blower. Very compact have a full set of drawers in front.

We also have a Dacor cooktop with the downdraft and the remote blower. They replaced a similar Thermador unit that we had used for 18 years. The remote blower is quieter and we have 2 cabinets underneath. We don't have drawers since our cooktop is the 'pro look' with the knobs on the front of the unit (not on the top).

We have a GE gas cooktop with a downdraft at our vacation home and that set up also has the remote blower.

Sweetwillie - I posted on the other thread about downdrafts. But I'll also reply here- Yes, we do have the Epicure series pro rangetop ESG 366sch with the Epicure Vent ERV 36 and the remote blower REMP 3.

They were installed 3 years ago and we really do like them. Especially since it replaced an 18 year old Thermador unit that only had 1 large burner, 2 medium ones and 1 small one. The best thing about our Epicure is the fact that all 6 burners have the same BTU. No more moving pots and pans around to get the largest burner.
