Are you sure they are stainless inside. Normally copper pans have tin linings.

The little info I could find on the web described them as "three-layer aluminium core, enclosed in stainless steel, exterior of polished copper".

I can assure you that they are stainless steel on the interior. I only
use them as serving dishes and never cook with them also. I
bought mine at a store called Zabars in New York City. They
might be a resource but what kind of info are you looking for.

I have a 10-inch Culinox skillet that I purchased in 1964 in Switzerland. Wish now that I had more! This is, hands down, THE BEST piece of cookware I've ever owned. We originally used it for cherries jubilee (that was back when those were popular) but now I drag it out for nearly all stove-top cooking. It is still a dream to clean - even easier than my other "brand X" stainless-lined cookware. After use, I squirt a little detergent in and fill it with hot water. After about 5 minutes, most times I only need to rinse it out. If anything does stick, I use a little palm-brush (NEVER anything scratchy!) and it comes clean easily! If I were more diligent to polish it with each use, the outside would also still look just about as good as the day I bought it. I cannot speak highly enough about this cookware. Would love to have more of it.

Hi! I hope someone can help me on this. I just bought one of these Culinox pan at a Goodwill thinking it was an amazing deal. It was $26 and since the stainless steel inside looked spotless and the copper outside looked worn, I thought it didn't matter. Now that I'm doing some searching, I realize that the copper is what helps the heat distribute in the pot and this is why people use copper pots. So, my question is, if half the copper looks worn off from the pan (outside), did I really get a good deal? Is this just another stainless steal or cast iron pot? Is the heating going to be weird since some copper is still on while other areas of the pot have copper worn off? Is there a fix or should I try to beg Goodwill to take it back???
