Question about Le Gourmet cookware

Hubby bought me a new set of Le Gourmet cookware today...I'm so excited to finally have some decent pots and pans! It says that the cookware can be used in the up to 500 degrees. This is probably a silly questions, but does that mean the lids can be used in a 500 degree oven as well? Thanks!
