33 inch Counter-Depth Fridge options

We want to replace our old fridge. It is counter-depth and only 29 inches. We have room for something that is up to about 33 inches. The appliance store I visited only came up with one option, a Samsung (RS197ACRS). Any other possiblities? We have had the current fridge for 8 years, and have managed fine with the space, so that isn't much of an issue. I would just like to have one with the freezer on the bottom and in SS, instead of cream. Thanks!!

I faced the same problem recently, and really didn't find anything I loved. The Samsung seemed okay, and there was something else at Sears that would have worked - can't recall the exact model. The F & P (2 different models) was great but seemed a tad overpriced. At the end of the day, I really liked the look of the F & P so much better, and ended up finding one on craigslist. Slightly dented but it works great, and I'm satisfied with the purchase. Quality is solid so far (4 months) and the storage/organization is fine. Freezer is smaller than my old side by side, but then there's not a ton of space taken up by the icemaker, either. It may not last forever, but for $400, it's a reasonable deal.

It's late and I'm tired so rather than looking on AJMadison dot com myself, I'll just suggest you look on the site yourself. They sell almost every brand out there, and their excellent filters help you narrow down the features, colors, and sizes you want. It's a great place to do research. After you find a couple of options, post them here to get feedback.

Thanks for the direction. I was having such a hard time searching. It looks like Fisher Paykel is the only other option. Anyone have any good or bad experiences with them?

ecaucutt use key words in a web search to get answers to your general query about F&P or any other brand name

e.g.
brandname + problem
brandname + complaint

About 3 1/2 yrs with the F&P and no problems.
