Castaway Stamp Pad

For the rubber stampers out there, have you ever used a Castaway stamp pad? The advertising says that when heat is applied to the image stamped on colored paper, a marbled effect is achieved. All I have ever gotten is a bleached effect. Has anyone ever gotten this marbled effect they talk about? Thanks.
