They have been priced, locally, at $22.00, at a Garden Center, but I think that is pretty steep.

They were selling in Tucson for $12.00 last Fall. We made a few and sold them for $20.00 a couple of years ago. Ours were anchored in a flower pot with "spider plants" growing in it. Bettye

Thank you for the info. I think I'll try $15.00 as I can always go down. I did sand the copper pole so it is bright and then I sprayed the pole with a sealant(krylon) so it shouldn't discolor.

I own a custom embroidery & quilting shop and 2 weekends ago I had a small craft show where I do more advertiseing them making moola. Reguardless, I was thinking I would sell way more embroidery stuff then my 'on the side craft items' and oh boy was I shocked when my crafts out sold the embroidery the first day.....

on the feeders I put a price of $14.00 on them....
SOLD EVERYONE I HAD!!! ... all 7 of them! Woo-Hoo!

Just cheap enough I had to have the dear hubby stay up til dawn making more for the next day of the show. HOWEVER, I did mine a little diffrent (and to me easier). I DID NOT drill a hole, but insted I bought a dozen of those 'wire cup/can' holders at our discount store to a tune of $2.27 each. They came in pink, green, yellow, blue, orange.. i tried to match my dishes.

(the holders.....you know those that you have to push into the ground to hold your pop and the wire comes up around your can/glass)

Jimmy then cut off all but one 'loop' and kinda pushed it down so my saucer would sit as flat as possisable [sp]. Turn it upside down to dry for a few hours and then i glued the cup onto the saucer and let it also dry a few hours. I used epoxie [sp] glue that i bought for $1.89 at the same store! Cant get no cheaper, can we? I got 3 feeders out on 1 tube.

I also tweeked the 'Feathered Friend' poem a little so I could add the name... Mother-In-Law, sister, Mother, G-Mother, Sister, Wife .... and so you get the idea.

That's a neat idea. Is there enough wire to glue securely to the saucer? I just thought it would be hard to glue. Thanks for your price on them. I sold 3 of them for $12.00 each for Fathers Day.

That's not the 'wire cup holder' i used but it's a good idea. But i think on the one you showed you will have to drill a hole to place the wire holder threw. Mine you dont, makeing it soooo much easier..lol
