I am making a wreath for my front door and would like to know how to get this aged look on my little wooden birdhouses that I'm adding to it. How would you do this? And if I get a paint pen to write on the birdhouse afterwards, will I need to seal it first in order to keep the paint pen from soaking into the wood? Thanks for your help.
