I can't find a post that I think was posted here. It was about painting a light fixture.

I'm trying to get my house ready to sell. I need to update the light fixtures in the bathrooms. The fixtures have shiny gold metal that starts to look cheap after a while. I want to repaint the gold with either silver or gold paint to update it. I remember seeing paint suggestions for this type of project someplace. As a last resort, I may even buy some of that gold/silver plating enamal paint in the craft wares section of the store. Any ideas on what I need?
