What to do with wedding dress

I found a wedding dress at a yard sale Saturday and it is loaded with beaded/sequin appliques and yards of toule (sp?)

I bought it to use a few of the appliques on a ring bearer pillow and photo album for my sons wedding. Now I need ideas for the rest. Thought about selling some on ebay.

And the train, it will make a beautiful wedding cake table cover.

A friend of mine had her wedding dress made into her daughter's communion dress. Another idea would be the dressing gown for a baptism. I'm sure there are plenty of things that can be put together with something that pretty.

It would make gorgeous pillows for a shabby chic bedroom, and maybe even a table cover. I like the ideas Deedeebaker gave you too. Hope you will post pictures of some of the items you make from it. Luvs

I used a wedding dress to make gowns for the angels I make at Christmas time. I looked at it a long time before I could make myself cut it up ! But it is great for the angels !It was mostly a heavy satin with lots of beads sewn on.
