I'd like to connect with folks who have designed and made floor cloths, since I want to make at least two.

Is this the right forum to do that?

Here's my first set of questions, in case this is where the question belongs:

I have a bunch of floorcloth canvas that has a thin rubbery surface on one side to prevent sliding.

Does this surface change how I should go about hemming the edges.

Also I'm told that I should stretch the canvas as I'm painting it. If I don't have a way to stretch a long or large piece, will it cause a problem if I stretch each section at a time as I paint it?
