Reading pillows

I desperately need a good "reading pillow." Or if not a reading pillow, I need suggestions.

At night I love to go back to the bedroom to watch the shows I've recorded and read. The problem is I have to lay on my side to do so because of the placement of the TV, and it's easy to reach my drink.

I prop myself up with 4 bed pillows, and now I've got two of the pillows from the sofa. I like laying on my side, and most of the time I use my elbow to lean on. But the pillows constantly get out of place.

The muscle in my left side is painfully sore. I looked at reading pillows on Amazon last night and most of them were the one's with arms. I've had those, I don't want another.

Any suggestions?

Type "wedge reading bed pillow" and you'll get lots of choices. One of the options....

I take the European square pillow and put my sleeping pillow in front of it. The sleeper kind of supports my back while resting my head on the square. Other times I take two sleepers and kind of squash them into the correct position.

Hmm, lying on your side is a problem. Maybe one of those body pillows would work. Maybe move the tv?

Judiegal, Amazon had a lot of the wedge pillows, but I didn't know if I could place them when I laid on my side.

I wonder what the difference is between the European pillow and the wedge?

I thought about the body pillow, but it would make me hot, and take up too much space.

Ded, I could move the TV but I still prefer laying on my side. Old habits die hard. lol

Hmmm...I wonder if several extra-firm pillows would do it?

Take a look at this one. I bought one from Company store and paid 129.00 but it has arms, had I seen this I would have bought it.

Where do you put these pillows? Under your head? Under your arm? Under your side? Which ones cause the most problems?

I often read on my bed, lying on my side. I use two Euro-size pillows, topped by a standard-size pillow under my arm/side to prop me up into a comfortable position. They don't move much.

I'm wondering if changing whatever covers the pillows to a different fabric, something less likely to slide around would help? Sateen would slide easily, corduroy or velvet or microfiber would be less slippery.

Cam, I support myself beginning at my lower back up to my neck. I lean over quite a bit because of my new iPad...which truth be told, playing with it is causing me problems in bed. lol

All my pillow cases are cotton.

The pillows move around because of me moving around. Last night I was able to get a perfect fit though with using the two pillows from the LR. I put one under my side to lean on and it worked pretty good!

If it wasn't for those Angry Birds, I wouldn't have this problem! :)

A euro is a 26 inch square (vs a wedge).
