I went out the house today. Builders brother and another gut was there. They were leaving when we pulled up (dd and I). I think it was 3:45 or so. They had put on the window sills and that is all that has been done in 2 1/2 weeks. He told me that ALL the trim that was delivered was wrong. They sent the wrong doors except for 4 of them and three doors were missing. I guess somehow they went off the first set of plans before we flipped the house. I am wondering how they even had that set of plans. I wonder why they didn't hang the 4 doors that were right? It was not like they were running out of light at 3:45 in the afternoon. I was a bit upset. If the builder had been by last week when the stuff was delivered he would have known then it was all wrong. I am not happy with the sills in the master. One is not level at all which makes me question why??! LOL!

DH called to get an update I guess while I was out at the house. The builder told him the new doors and trim will be in next Thursday. The cabinets are set to go in on Thursday or Friday but DH did not clear that up. Tomorrow Thursday or next week Thursday! LOL! The septic should be started after Thanksgiving I guess. I am really starting to wonder if this will be ready by December 22th when we are set to close? That really is only 5 weeks. I am not counting the week of Thanksgiving. Do you think it can all get done?

We still have to:

Paint (roll the walls and ceilings because they look like crap) put in the doors, trim, cabinets, bath fixtures, lights, electrician has to come back and drill the outside porch lights, the island light, and what ever else he will do. You all know how the electrician works. That could take us out to January!! The septic needs to be done, toilets, sinks, floors, closet shelves, mirrors in the bath rooms, I do not even know or can think about it. Can that really be done in 5 weeks?!? DH said we might just go ahead and paint the walls the week of Thanksgiving. Oh, the front door, I am not sure if that has even been ordered. The floors, I sure hope he ordered them because they were on sale. DH asked him about the floors but the builders phone broke up and for some unknown reason DH did not ask him to repeat it!!! ARGH!

Oh, yeah they have to tile the showers, tub, back splash. Hmmm what else???

Anyway, I just vent a bit. I am trying to keep a positive attitude but the darn extra sheet rock is still in the living room!!!!!!!!!

I am going to go to bed and try to sleep and not think about it. I will be like Scarlet O'Hara, I will think about it tomorrow!
