Did you want to bring in the colors from your shower curtain? Are the tub and vanity the same color? on my monitor the tub looks white but the vanity looks almond. Is this a child's bathroom or an adult bathroom? Because if this is a little girls bathroom you could really run with the pink thing but if it is for an adult then maybe we would add things to balance out the pink.

You may think about painting the vanity cabinet a dark brown/espresso color and new knobs. I would remove the mirror and replace it with a dark espresso framed mirror. I can't really see the light fixture, or the flooring. ?? Dark rug in front of the vanity. Once you have a smaller mirror, you can hang some art to give it personality, and some functional decorative pieces, dark tray for "stuff" soap dispenser, Q-tip holder etc. I don't think adding another color to the walls will help tone down the pink tile, I feel you need darker elements to compliment and ground the space. It's no fun to get ready in a dark bath, and no one looks good with green walls, as an example. The shower curtain is cute and not over the top.

The tub is white and the vanity is more of an almond. The shower curtain is not a must keep. It was a quick purchase when we moved in a year ago. The floor is a grayish speckled industrial linoleum and the lights are from 1950 and give off bad light. Thanks for all the ideas so far!

It can help you a little change of tiles in the shower? The plates should be white in my opinion. I think you need to paint the entire bathroom green. White furniture, cream and shower curtains to the window and candles on a mirror. I do not know if it's a perfect idea but I think that if you can not change the whole bathroom tiles should be white and should be pink frames around windows and doors.

I'd go for a white, pink and gray palette with black accents. Walls light to medium gray. Possibly paint the vanity charcoal gray (or reverse, with charcoal gray walls and light gray vanity), white towels, and either keep the fun polka dot shower curtain or go for something like these:
