Need children's flower project

I was thinking of having my second graders each make a model of a flower since they are learning the parts of a flower, but I need a simple craft which will show the stamen and the pistil parts.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I have tissue paper, construction paper, chenille stems, but I'm not sure where to go after I get some supplies in mind!
