What are you working on? 11/5

It's a new week! :) I am sure hoping it's better than last week!

So far, I have nothing started!

I have decided to scrap the outhouse 4X4. I will probably just make a tall, skinny birdhouse to sit on one of the porches. I decided that I could take my toilet paper holder and do a little work to change it into it's own outhouse and then it will be silly to have two so close together.

I have lots of projects lined up for DH. I have been waiting since late August for DH to finish up this "Tree stand" that he started. The tree stand is a little larger than Jer wanted it to be and now can't be in a tree so it's on stilts. He's been razzed a bit about the thing but it will be big enough for DS to go along with him and maybe a few others! LOL We got it all up to camp yesterday and got it set up, after 8 hours (we took MANY trips up and down the hill on the four wheelers to get everything up there!) He has a few minor things to do to it yet and I have to take up up the sign that I made for him...I named it the Hillside Hunting Lodge! LOL Of course, he was planning to sleep nice and soundly because it was finally up there and the trucks brake cylinder had to go bad yesterday, so the truck is sitting at camp waiting for DH to get the part and time to fix it!

I've been making some stuffed pumpkins, but don't have any totally finished with leaves yet, I'd better hurry up while it's still fall!!

I've been making little cell phone purses.

I'm donating these to a silent auction that benefits our local humane society. The pattern is really simple and it comes printed on interfacing - you just iron it on, cut it out, fold and sew, so easy. It practically makes itself.

Next I'm going to start packaging up my faeries for the party.

Here is a link that might be useful: the pattern.....

I just finished making eight centerpieces for a group meeting that I have coming up. I used purchased colored oak and maple leaves and some apple leaves of my own that I had preserved with Glycerine and Baby's Breath also preserved with Glycerine. I also bought some loaves of bread (sorta like French bread only shorter)and dried them in my dehydrator (took a couple days), I sprayed them with Silicone and then I used raffia to tie a bow around the loaf to hold beautiful wheat that I had raised. I was really pleased with the loaf of bread ones. I added a tiny bit of green moss and some of the Baby's Breath to the bouquet of wheat. The golden bread and golden wheat and the golden Baby's Breath really looked great together!I already sent them off to the meeting site in Minneapolis or I would try to get a picture. Forgot to do that before !!

I'm painting a pilgrim bear, working on parents 40th anniversary party, trying to come up with a fun craft to teach next month at my church ladies group. Leaning toward either a magnetic advent calendar or Beaded Christmas hooks. ~Anj

Flamingo, your little cell phone purses are darling.

Sweets, I know your sign will look so nice when you get it hung up. That will be a fun place for your family.

I finished a snowman plaque from a TS sign I had sanded off. And I'm still painting the other sides of these Halloween blocks--yes, I know Halloween is over, but I want to finish them before I pack them away for a year. LOL

I made this pillow for my friend's DD's b-day on Tues. Sarah turned 7 and she loves Snowmen. She got the Lil Luvables Factory so I didn't stuff the pillow and left it open at the top. My friend then sewed it up and the hat covers the sewn up part :)
